Landmark Code of Business Ethics
Landmark's success is dependent on the trust and confidence earned from directors, employees, shareholders, affiliates and contractors. Credibility is earned by adhering to commitments, pursuing honesty and integrity, and reaching organizational goals through honorable conduct.
When considering any action, staff are encouraged to ask:
- Will this build trust and credibility for Landmark?
- Will it help create a working environment in which the company can succeed over the long term?
- Is the commitment we are making one we can follow through with?
Financial Integrity and Responsibility
Landmark strictly adheres to International Financial Reporting Standards to ensure financial records are complete and accurate, with strict compliance to internal controls.
All Landmark representatives are required to comply with financial reporting requirements, standards and policies. Falsification, alteration or manipulation of financial records or accounts that may compromise accuracy or competence is strictly prohibited.
Landmark representatives who encounter or suspect irregularities relating to financial integrity or fiscal responsibility should immediately report them.
Obedience to the Law
Integrity begins with compliance to prevailing laws, rules and regulations in the countries of operation. All Landmark representatives are required to comply with applicable legal requirements and understand the major laws and regulations that apply to the company and its operations.

Landmark's Board of Directors and Management practice demonstrative leadership by displaying ethical behavior through action. Leadership will promptly address ethical questions and concerns raised and take appropriate steps to deal with such issues.
Ethics concerns are not considered threats or challenges to authority, but are encouraged as a natural part of daily business communication.
Conflicts of Interest
Transactions, interactions or dealings that may present competing loyalties, result in personal benefit, or require unethical use of gifts or cash to coerce a decision in Landmark's favor are considered conflicts of interest.
Landmark representatives are requested to avoid all situations or transactions where conflicts of interest arise.
- Acting as consultants to competitors, potential competitors, suppliers or contractors.
- Hiring or supervising family members or closely related individuals.
- Serving as a board member for a commercial entity or organization other than Landmark.
- Owning or having a substantial interest in a competitor, supplier or contractor.
- Having personal interests, financial interests or potential gain in any Landmark transaction.
- Accepting gifts, discounts, favors or services from a customer, potential customer, competitor or supplier unless equally available to all Landmark employees.
Reporting Business Ethics Violations
The Internal Audit office includes a business ethics section where malpractices or wrongdoing may be reported for internal action. The audit section also analyzes internal ethics incident data and outcomes to inform future responses and detect trends for preventative action.
